Thx Giumbix my game works now, he really put his shoulders into it +REP
so i'll be able to jump in next turn.
I won't play this turn and leave the Invicta save since the effort he put into isn't for nothing... and it's best he played the turn since he would be able to insure a "safe" start for the moors after the cheated start position. So i'll work myself into the game and diplomacy will be handled. The Moorish People will make their mark

Guys Matto16 might leave the game.
I don't understand why, but it seems he referred to the fact that he doesn't like central position and skip a few (which is weird since he knew before it started it was going to be like that).
I hope he reconsiders, since there are deals he made, upon which other factions depend to.
And it's quite sad players turn away from a HS at the first difficulty, as that it become pointless to play HS at all (since we came here for a greater challenge).
No one is gonna die for real, and things can change until the end: you can't know if you abandon it so soon.
I once took over a faction in Catholic 4, which was semi-destroyed, and I brought it to be the strongest, thanks also to a lucky turn in the events.
It happened the same in a spanish HS, and once again taking advantage of the events I turned the desperate starting situation and make my faction unbeatable.

And last, but not least..leaving the faction when your turn comes up..well players should still play until a replacement is found.

Prince Salaym al-Arghiyani caught up with the retreating King Foulques in the fields north of Damascus and so commenced the final battle of the Crusader king. King Foulques was terrified of the mighty warriors of Islam but like a cornered animal, fought with fierce determination.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Prince Salaym fought bravely past the Crusader kings protectors and died upon the sword of King Foulques but not before dealing a mortal blow in return.

The captain of the prince's body guard, Abul-Fath Al-Haytham, rallied the confused soldiers and ensured a decisive victory for the Egyptian army. The invaders will soon be cleansed from the shores of Egypt and peace restored. The Caliph reckons there will be one more season of war before the holy land can be fully at peace.

(The general Abul-Fath was a man of the hour and spawned with plague. Never seen that before )

Many battles played, and a long story to come, since it's too long I'll try to finish within today and post it with the SS.

    The fight for survival
qui ventum seminabunt et turbinem metent

After years under the yoke of the Normans and the Turks..
    Anno Domini 1295
Messere : Basileus, the Ambassador Philoromos Stratigopoulos has came back from his mission on the court of the Normans.
Basileus Invicta: let him enter immediately.
Ambassador Philoromos: mighty Basileus, I don't know how to say it..
Basileus Invicta:: just say it what you have to say for god sake..don't waste my time any further
Ambassador Philoromos: The Norman King Luka laughed at your proposal of peace, and redesign the borders to share peacefully Greece. All his men when hearing my words.
Basileus Invicta: what a disgrace! Are we fallen so low that anyone laugh at us, aand doesn't give the minimum consideration to our proposals? Did they offer a counter proposal..?
Ambassador Philoromos: I'm afraid not. It seems clear to me, Basileus that the Normans have no peaceful intentions..More soldiers are being recruited as we speak.. I think we should assume the worst.
They'll likely intend to continue the war.
Basileus Invicta:I see, you're dismissed and can go to your room.

    few days later
Messere : mighty Basileus the ambassador Stavros Adhralestos came back from his mission to the court of the Seljuk. He says its message is urgent and extremely important.
Basileus Invicta: let him bring his message then..
Ambasador Stavros: mighty Basileus, I bring terrible news with me. The treaty that the Seljuks signed with us to ensure peace, well..
Basileus Invicta: enough with this suspence, say what you have to say..
Ambassador Stavros: well, they broke it. They do no intend to make peace any more.
Their mood changed suddenly..after a foreign messenger came to their tent. I couldn't see him clearly, but my servant was able to spot part of his coat. Do you want to see it?
Basileus Invicta: show it to me
    Ambassador Stavros: here it is..
Basileus Invicta: but it can't be..what a disgrace. Is your servant absolutely sure?
Ambassador Stavros: He would swear on his life..after such visit the Sultan imposed us new terms..do you want to listen them?
Basileus Invicta: what? And why would I want to listen their terms! They broke the treaty they signed once, without worrying about having given their word, they can obviously do it once more.
Those perfidious lying bastards, I swear this will be the last time they'll fool us. You may go.
    I need time to think..alone.

    Anno Domini 1296

Mesazon (Chief minister) Nikephoros Choumnos: Basileus, we keep getting reports of the Normans bringing more armies near Bari..it seems like they'e preparing..

Basileus Invicta: I know, I can see their intention clearly. They intend to bring their strongest attack here in Durazzo, to take my life and definitely destroy the empire.
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: so, Basileus, may I ask what are we doing still here? We must leave and try to safely retire to Constantinople..
Basileus Invicta: and leave Epirus in their hands? And then what? I'll tell you what: after they control the whole Greece they'll want more, and the Turks will come after us too.
No, now I'll tell you what. Give instructions to Prokopios Laskaris to reunite and take command of the forces coming back from Caesarea along with the force in Nicaea to oppose any advance of the Turks.
Send a message to the Co-Emperor Ephemios, to gather our main army and recruit as many mercenaries as he can and prepare his forces to get back control of Greece, I have an idea which I think may take the Normans totally by surprise.
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: and what we will do here, Basileus?
Basileus Invicta:send instructions to Arkhelos Nazianzinos to recruit as many levies as he can in the fortress of Arta, if opportunities present next seasons, he shall be ready to engage battle in the Pelopponesus.
On the other hand, you need to all the money in the royal treasury to recruit as many levies and mercenaries in this area. We won't run away, here is where the Norman's invasion will stop
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: but my lord, their forces seems overwhelming..we might not have forces enough to stop them.
Basileus Invicta:it's not in men that we lack, while rather in bravery. The bravery that our ancestors once had, and that we lost along the way. This is where we will change the tide of our fate.
Let the enemies come to our gates, we will fight! Because WE ARE ROMANS!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Anno Domini 1297

hidden in a remote island in the Egean's sea..
Military Officer: Symbasileus Ephemios, another Norman fleet just passed close to the island.
Symbasileus Ephemios: are you sure they didn't spot us?
Military Officer: I'm am positive on that.
Symbasileus Ephemios: Very well, tell the men to get ready, we will sail tomorrow night. And send a message to the detachment in Chios to get ready too. Soon the the rivers in the Pelopponesus
    will get stained of red.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Military Officer: where are we headed, my lord?
Symbasileus Ephemios: Thessalonica...soon the shadow of the Empire will fall upon the city!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The Empire was not just victorious on land, also on the sea our fireships proved their value..
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    In the Fortress of Arta:
Military Officer: General, we just received a message saying that Attica returned under our control, along with Corinth. But the Normans have still their main army intact in idling in the Laconia's plains.
    Our intervention is required.
General Arkhelos Nazianzinos: this is our moment, this is what we were waiting for. Get the men ready to sail.
    Military Officer: what destination, General?
General Arkhelos Nazianzinos: our destination is the GLORY!

Normans forces were waiting the disembark of our troops, but their ambush failed miserably: the heart of the or the imperial soldiers remained true and strong.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Yet another astonishing victory for the Imperial forces: now the Normans forces in Greece have been totally wiped out!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

In the meanwhile in the royal residence of the Emperor in Durazzo:
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: good news Basileus, excellent news!
Basileus Invicta: what news are you talking about?
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: it seems that the Normans forces in Bari, landed on our shores and decided to return back as their were not confident in achieving victory
Basileus Invicta: and how exactly is that a good news? It would have been very convenient for us to fight here, as we would have saved the trip. Now we'll be forced to march to them..
Mesazon Nikephoros Choumnos: but, my lord, why should e take such risks?
Basileus Invicta: Why? You ask why? For years our lands have been subjected to their yoke. And while the Norman king was having wet dreams of taking total control of our empire,
is now time for the Romans to turn such wet dreams into the darkest nightmares! We will be his nightmare, his damnation, and we'll make him scare just to think about us..
Lets prepare the invasion: as ghosts we will appear from the nowhere and bring death and desolation. This is the day our enemies will die!

Our fleet patrolling the coast of Salento, spotted strange movements . Teams are sent in recognition, the main army is called for battle, as one of the main army has been surrounded:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Great victory achieved, but the ones who who survived among the enemies, tried to repaired near Bari, next to the main army. The Emperor is determined to not let them escape, and engage the main army if necessary:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Great battle turned in our favor once again. Now the Fortress of Bari itself is at risk!

On the other front.. the Turks are marching against us.. one of their main armies is ready to attack our fortress of Trebizond..

Without hesitation though ,Prokopios Laskaris marches with his army headed to Ankara, where the Sultan with his army is preparing his offensive. Prokopios is determined to take the initiative, and to not give the Ottomans the time to complete their plans..
A little fort on the way meant to delay our advance has been easily captured..
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now the enemy knew the position of the Roman's armies, Prokopios advances even faster, and assault Ankara without hesitation:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

A bloody victory, that's sure, but now the Sultan is dead (along with 3 other family members), and the people rejoice!
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now the Normans will bitterly regret to have refused and laughed at our peace proposal, as also
the Turks will pay in blood the breaking of the deal we signed!

So this how you backstab me Invicta?Offering friendship and then attacking immediately when you can.I guess Stouff was right. Also i thought you said you are not allowed to attack settlements like this in 3 turn.

You cannot attack other human factions within the first 2 turns. Also if you have army on another human faction at the start you'd need to evacuate it within 2 turns. If you put ships in with stacks and a siege weapon within the range of a settlement of another human player, you can't use it on turn 3 to take such settlement.

    Would you mind explaining?

    me backstabbing you?
You kept recruiting units in Greece and brought more men to Bari..why?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    You must be kidding...
We started at war, and I offered you 20 NAP turns and you refused:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Oh..but you made peace with the Moors, and you didn't with me..no you instead put more men and fleets on my frontiers..
I contacted you, and you refused my proposal.
And you never contacted me to offer any counter-proposal. Nothing.. not even a ceasefire.

Now pls, show where you offered me friendships (and when I accepted it..) because those are the only messages you sent me (only because I contacted you..).
If you fail such friendly messages, I (and the other who are reading) might believe you're making up such story because you got defeated and now you're making excuses for it (which wouldn't be nice), and then
I guess I'll have to think that you're the one to not be trusted (and btw, Stouff wrote that only because I mentioned once of his betrayal..not because I ever missed my word, which I challenge anyone to show me when that ever happened)
So again..please show me when you offered (and when I accepted ) your friendship.

    This is turn 3
My armies and my siege weapons were on land in my regions when my turn started.
So I followed exactly the rules, which is in this case, the same of the previous RPG HS which you also played in (the first turns).
Moreover, I also gave a further clarification when this HS started:

I refused NAP??Seriously can you read right?I am not really interested into TRADING SETTLEMETNS!And that was because i would get worser settlements than i had.I even send my diplomat to you so we could make peace and moved my armies away form your border for the exact same purpose.I was planing to move them to Italy so that you wouldn't think i was planing on something.Bari was the only foretress i have beside one on Sicily and i didn't know Moorish intentions. That is why i moved my forces there. And that is on behalf of YOUR warning. You could just ask that if you were so interested. And i could destroy your armies in my turn if i would want to but i didn't right?

You offered me a deal and i accepted it all except for trading settlemetns.Should i ask you then if you accept the other part of your own proposal if i don't agree on trading settlements or what?
For those reasons you ARE a backstabber.
