This might be of some help to you, the advice is based more on getting chaos undivided, but that will be a big help to you eventually I suppose

thanks man any help is appreciated, but what i am mostly looking for is help to get a good start as Khorne

The two times I played as Khorne, the Chaos Dwarfs become my allies in the first few turn.
If you achieve this (and I'm not really sure what the conditions are), you can concentrate all your strenght on the west (Tzeentch).
As for Dwarfs, I've never seen them in the chaos wastes. Did you cross the sea and try to invade Norsca?
Read the towns name, it's a Karak, also on the previous turn it says that the Chaos Dwarves will have a army spawn into it, it's a trade. You can hold the town and not have Hellcannnon/Chaos Dwarf mercs, and he isn't a ally (and therefore more towns). Or you relinquish that Karak after taking it. (have all units go out of it.) This will also make him defend your Hastling's Settlements, and Tehemak Settlements. (Names could be wrong.)
Also, expend your first few Chosen units at start to the last man, holding them back at half strength for 30 turns is a waste of money as I found out...
And here's a army composition I try to strive for, it seriously makes your army a faction destroyer:
Chaos Ogre (Late Game)
Chaos Troll (Late)
Chaos Dwarf Blunderbussx2
Halbredx6 (Setup on edges of army, 2 in front rank on opposite sides, and then another 2 behind those two, also spread out a lil bit farther.)
Chaos Warriors are the gap between Halbreds.
Khorne Chosen/Axethrowers/Marauders in between the double halbred stacks.
Also bring your starter game Heir, he has a ultimate that can turn a standstill into a victory, or a rout. (With Calv/BloodCrushers.)
