    Default Third age 3.2 crash

    i recently installed the third age mod and i didn't have one problem with it until i tried to install the 3.2 patch. The game runs the campaign fine aswell as the battles but it will all ways crashes when i try to do a seige battle as well as load a custom battle that involves a siege. The 3.0 version never had the problem and could run any map like rivendell,helms deep, excc. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

    hi i bought it off of gamers gate, its the gold edition and the thing is i am running this game off of my iMac osx 1.8.2 and i used a wineskin port to get medieval 2 total war plus the kingdoms packs to work on my mac. The m2tw works like its made for my mac no lag or anything and i decided to try to try use a mod and i really wanted to use the third age one. I changed the mod third age to americas campaign as instructed and i start the 3.0 third age version of americas campaign and the game runs perfect. I am able to play any siege or battle with out any problems but when i tried to install the 3.2 patch it just crashes when i do a siege battle only. normal battles work fine as well as the campaign. I'm not sure if anyone has ever had this problem since i am running it off of my mac but just wanted to see if there was some way that maybe since 3.0 works perfectly fine that i just gotta edit some file to make 3.2 patch work. Thanks

    forgot to include this but its weird cause the siege battle will load and it will do that rotating camera thing at the beginning of every battle and it will only show the soldiers and it would look like the soldiers were standing on a invisible floor then crash within 2 seconds after the load, so my guess is that it has to do something with the maps but thats just a guess.

    I use this thread of dillon35 to report about my problem. I guess (s)he doesn't mind.

    I decided to continue playing the Gundabad Orcs Campaign and I get a window saying [Medieval 2: Total War has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.]

    It has happened before when it was time for a new turn so I removed and installed TATW again. This time it happens when I'm fighting the dwarfes outside the settlement of Nenuial.

    I have Medieval 2 TW Gold (I bought the game in Sweden so I used the UK 1.05 Gold patch when upgrading) and the mods on a Vista with UAC turned off, this daytime control thing turned off just in case, the game and mods are installed in C:\Games\SEGA\... I have turned off autosave in medieval2.preferences.cfg (read somewhere that it could cause problems) and I have no submods installed.

    The log is saying something about script error in mods/Third_Age_3/data/export_descr_buildings.txt

    I have the 3.2 version, playing a campaign as the silvan elves. Mordor are sieging calas galadhon, when I attack them I can deploy my troops and the game still carries on at the start but after about 15 seconds it ctd's why?

    yeah just tried it, seemed to last for about a minute and then crashed again. I've tried attacking forts before and everything was fine, maybe it's the custom settlements?

    the custom settlements do consume considerable resources if your system is old or not very powerful you could get unexplained CTD's

    you should at this because of med 2 just using one core and not being large address aware this can help if you have the RAM

    also if there are reinforcements present there is a known bug with that
