    Default Quick Question.

I have recently just bought the Kingdoms expansion pack and I am loving it and the mods that are made for it.

Something is really annoying me though. By default, there is no settlement information beneath that settlement (the green face, if the city is building/recruiting etc). To actually see that little bar I have to mouse over that settlement. I know there is a way to see that bar without mousing over it as I have seen it in a video. I just can't find a way to do it. I have searched this forum and google (probably not hard enough) and have not come back with any results. I have also looked over the in-game options and I have either missed it or it isn't there.

So if any of you could kindly enlighten me on how to do it then that would be great.

Are you asking to find out more information like income, happiness, population growth, religion? Double click the city and click on the city icon in the bottom left hand corner.

Are you wanting to know what buildings are available? Double click the city and click on the building icon right next to the city icon in the bottom left hand corner.

If neither of those answer your question, you may need to explain what you mean by "little bar" ie what information this bar shows, what the bar looks like (color, size, shape, etc).

The bar that appears below the settlement. It shows the basic information.

The name of the settlement, the happiness (green, yellow, blue and red faces), if the settlement is building/recruiting and the income.

You can toggle that bar by using a shortkey.
    I believe it was ctrl+T
But i might be wrong about the exact key combination, it is a long time since I played mtw2.
In the chaos of battle, when the ground beneath your feet is a slurry of blood, puke, piss and the entrails of friends and enemies alike, it's easy to turn to the gods for salvation. But it's soldiers who do the fighting, and soldiers who do the dying, and the gods never get their feet wet.

Press ctrl+n , or ctrl+t , one of them should work. Press F1 in-game to see all shortcuts/hotkeys, or in the menu in Options>Controls or something like that.
    Edit: ninjad, lol

try this in the [game] section of your medieval2.preference.cfg for that line,

    label_settlements = 1

if it doesn't work then I don't know.

EDIT: Above shortcuts might be easier)

Ctrl+T worked. Ctrl+N shows all the names of the characters on the visible map.

Seemed a bit simple, but hey. Thanks guys.

No worries. I remember the first time I accidentally hit ctrl T. Took me days to get it to show up again.
