    why are there no ships aloud in the anduin. shoouldent we be aloud to recuirt ships in the anduin

    Above the Fall of Rauros you wouldn't use ships. Boats yes, but not ships.

    I think once the idea of navigable rivers came up for trade and logistics. tharbad, northern Anduin and the sea of Rhûn.
    and the team made them and provided harbours, maybe they even tried out with ships.
    but in the release they have removed the ships in these areas.
    why?
    I may guess, that the AI would spam a lot of fleets in those rivers, where they wouldn't be that necessary.

    but personally I would wish for ships, too.
    (they could surely be called "boats" in those areas)

    Back on topic:

    The AI can't handle it, they would make masses of ships. Same for Rhun's inland sea.
