    Default Making Khazad Dum available for all Good empires

    Nothing annoys me more than finally capturing Moria, but since I'm not the dwarves I cannot rebuild it to its former glory. Is there a fix for this? Can I make Moria automatically turn into Khazad-Dum for all good races rather than just dwarves?

    You can just rename it your self when you conquer it

    I could, yes, but that doesn't allow me to make the Mithril Mines, or maybe I'm mistaken...?

    What exactly do you mean? Never noticed there are building limitations for other races... and as for name you can change it yourself. I usually change half the names of settlements i conquer.

    Besides that i think this place should give dwarves some special buildings or features.

    When I play the Elves of Lorien in MOS and capture Moria, I have never been able to make the Mithril Mines.

    Well Lorewise Speaking Khazad-Dum was a Dwarven Stronghold not Elvish or Man. So the Dwarves should really have a Bonus over other races . I Don't Find that Bad. You can add the Building to other faction's but its a lot of work

    How did you do that? So I don't need to make another thread like this.

    Also, those two threads didn't help at all... they don't explain how to add the mithril mines to other factions. Also, that was back in 2.1; I really don't think the information applies here, in 3.2

    I used search engine at titles only

    and so what i just press mithril and those pop up

    In export_descr_building.txt find this line...

    Code:
    m_mines city requires factions { hre, moors, }  and resource chocolate and building_present_min_level hinterland_mines mines+1
    ...and change to...

    Code:
    m_mines city requires factions { sicily, byzantium, milan, scotland, turks, spain, venice, england, france, hre, portugal, egypt, mongols, moors,}  and resource chocolate and building_present_min_level hinterland_mines mines+1
    That will make it available to everyone. But it might be missing name, description and images for them. In that case you will need to read a tutorial on adding buildings to other cultures.

    I don't have much experience with buildings, but shouldn't names and descriptions work for all factions as long as EDB is in order?

    Not necessarily. It depends on export_buildings.txt. If there is no entry for the culture who built it then you get things like "DO NOT TRANSLATE - NOT MEANT FOR THIS CULTURE". But I had a quick look for this one and it should be fine, all cultures are present.

    What cultures are the evil ones? I don't want to allow the evil empires to use it as mithril was commonly seen on the side of good.

    Rhun, Harad, and all the orc factions (depending of wether or not you are using any submod, you may have Dunland as well).

    hre (OotMM) are supposed to have it for Balrog purposes.
