Demographics of the W:TW Community?

Hello all,

Recently, I have seen lots of comments about people having exams/school work to do, and what-not.

I have already got a few established ideas about the age of a few people I have played with, but I am just curious as to the average demographic of a Westeros: Total War player.

Feel free to just answer the poll, or to also be brave and introduce yourself.

I have limited the poll to ages, but feel free to say where you are from and whatever.

I'm the same category, and I think most around here will be. that's pretty obvious IMO: Rome TW came out in 2004 and medieval II came out in 2006, those were the ones that got the francise going.
Most of us were 12-14 year old nerdlings who then discovered the (long-forgotten) wonders of the old CA. Add 8 years to get to the point we are now, and it's obvious a majority would fall under the 18-21 category.

the ones that followed after us started with stuff like Empire and Napoleon, and since the integration with steam mods have become rather unpopular with the younger audiences

I am forty two, veteran, former English professor at University of Oregon (Go Ducks!!!), and amateur fantasy author, been playing video games since pong (making myself feel old here,) I found this forum through some of the a Song of Ice and Fire pages I follow. Been a big fan of the series since it was first released back in 1996.

Hello 19 Here Second Year at University making my Bachelor's Degree as a History Teacher. Still all my life ahead . I Began o love A Song of Ice and Fire when at my 17 birthday a friend of mine gave me A Game of Throne's.

Nicee . My concentration is the History of Puerto Rico (Colonial Era) since I am from Puerto Rico but I'm taking also Ancient, Medieval, Colonial and Napoleonic Era classes.

Me, I remember when the first previews of this amazing looking game called Shogun: Total War were in PC Gamer. Except I'm old enough to remember it wasn't called Shogun originally, it was called Taisho: Total War. Har!

Actually, I first encountered Total War through a 'non-playable' demo released with PcGamer. I still have the disc somewhere.
