Okay, this may be a stupid question, but I looked at the first entry of this tutorial and clicked the Show spoiler and there is nothing in the spoiler window. Any idea what is occurring there?

As far as I know you need to make new textures in the colours you want in order for the unit to have that...I got the Assembly kit to finally work recently and created a unit but how do get it to keep its custom color? I've changed its color and I unchecked the "use faction colors" but it still keeps the faction color.
I didn't notice that, good that you told me! Apperantly I can't make them "visible", I believe it might have something to do with the recent upgrade of this site. I will try some more times and if I fail I will upload them as links.Okay, this may be a stupid question, but I looked at the first entry of this tutorial and clicked the Show spoiler and there is nothing in the spoiler window. @ Ygge, If you could do that, it would be great. I have the Assembly Kit downloaded and have used it for reference, but not used it for modding. I have modded extensively with the community modding tools, but I am still unsure of how to use the CA official tools. Look forward to you fixing that. Thanks!!!
Yes, I have provided the links in op now.
Hi, first, thanks for giving us an opportunity to know better how to use Tweak. And second, i have a question: in the unit editor, for example, i click heads and there appears a laaaaaarge list of head parts. Then, you see that the problem is that each part is repeated 3 times. And i dont know where are those files.
Thanks
Haldier

Where did you put your mod tools?
hi , your tuto is perfect but when I use BOB , I have an error message which is :
execute add_unit_stats_land_table "c:\users\ian\desktop\s2tw new units\raw_data\EmpireDesignData\unit_stats_land.xml" c:\users\ian\desktop\s2tw new units\working_data\db\unit_stats_land_tables\unit_stats_land
There is no pack file to add a file to.
Incorrect flag new specified - should be append or replace
add_unit_stats_land_table did not parse the entire stream - units\working_data\db\unit_stats_land_tables\unit_stats_land remained unused.
Were I did a mistake ? :S
Wrong thread.

Having problems getting startpos.esf changes to show up in game.
I'm following all the instructions in the youtube video, and I'm only altering starting money for a faction (Hojo), under start_pos_factions, to see if I can get it to work. The process goes fine, and I generate the .pack file fine (all green), but I can't get anything to change in game.
Could it be that the startpos.esf files in the assembly pack are out of date?
Cheers!
