There are many ways to appreciate great and important art. You can pry it apart piece by piece to analyze the makings of it, or you can do as I do, and take it in as a whole. This painting is from MF Hussain, India's formost painter! The above actually caused some controversy from the opportunists in the Hindutva movement who expressed outrage at a Muslim painting a Hindu Goddess in the nude; nevertheless, many Hindus and Moslems still regard his work as excellent.
A very interesting picture, Clint Eastwood Finds Meryl and Madhuri (Bollywood Actress) on the Bridge of Madison County; it's very whimsical and quite nice.
The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple a painting by Rembrandt. I like this Rembrandt very much for his work with lighting; this picture, I actually re-did for my Art Class once, but I changed it to the Enlightenment of Buddha.*
