good news and bad news about Halo movie

Good News: They finally have a director, some guy who has never directed a movie before.

Bad News: The Movie was delayed to Summer 2008.

Then that will give them plenty of time to perfect it.

The movie might just end up as badly as Doom, but I look forward to a lot of Aliens vs Humans!

It's not going to be nowhere near as bad as doom. For two reasons:
1) It's ****ing Halo. By definition, it will pwn.

2) The script had to be approved by microsoft and/or bungie, from what I heard. They don't want to take any chances of it getting skewed, like Doom.

I will see it when it comes out.

It doesnt really bother me. I don't have high hopes for it anyway (mainly cos Halo has one of the most cliched stories in gaming history ). If it is good, then I'll be happy though. Its a win win scenario for me
