Caligula, Araval, thank you for paying attention to the competition program.

The UESW 500 will be held in the usual format, except that the winner will be awarded a double +6 reputation and (importantly, I think) an extra point. As you know, the UESW contest does not mean getting points for winning, but in this case it was decided to make an exception. Thus, the winner of the UESW 500 will receive +6 reputation and 1 point. I will also inform about this in the announcement of the results of the vote this week.

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen!

I am happy to inform you of the great news: the team of Picture and Video Competitions has been joined by another great staffer. Turcafinwë has kindly agreed to help me in work to run the competitions.
Many of you know him from his work at WS and his activism in TWC life. I personally very grateful to him for his help and ask you to support him. I sure that joining Turk to work in competitions will make them much richer and more interesting.

And, I have to say: thank you and welcome to the Picture and Video Competitions team, Turk!
