    Hey Finlander!
I haven't seen the non-TW POTW and UESW for a good long while, and I really hope that you are going to bring it back to our competitions. I know it takes a lot of effort just to create new threads every week, and you also have a life to live, so I know it is very hard for you to keep up with everything. However, I have a little suggestion. We can hold non-TW POTW and UESW competitions randomly (it can be monthly, every 2 weeks, etc., it does not necessarily need to be fixed) to replace the regular TW-only POTW and UESW (not permanent, of course), just for a change, and maybe, even more people will take part in these competitions as well, as I have seen many great works from other games. I really hope we can have more participants.
Anyway, keep up the good work, mate!
P/s: sorry for the long post.

Absolutely yes. I recall the last time and the only time it ran the competition was surprsingly popular, collecting participators otherwise not seen in the competition corner. It takes a bit more effort to run more competitions but it is just a little addition, wouldn't worry about it, however, the amount of sticky threads is getting extensive and making the sub-section tiring and unappealing to read. I might have to do a bit cleaning on the forum, reducing the stickies by one or two.

    For the suggestion.

Hey there, there is a line about that in the UESW rules:
    1. Cropping the screenshot is the only altercation allowed. Adding borders is not allowed and will invalidate the submission.
I am not quite sure what do you mean by a format, you can cut out parts such as lower UI but other than that there isn't much that you are allowed to do.

Yes Tartaros, that would be allowed.

Any idea, guys, about how I could get rid of that huge compass in the naval battles of NTW and ETW? It's one of the most useless "features" and it forces me to crop out a large part of my screenshot.

I don't have any of these game installed, but I remember there is UI option while you play or look to controls if you can find "Hide UI" key that disable most all UI (even that compass too)

I tried it and, indeed, it hides pretty much everything except for the wind compass. Anyway, I'll try to search in Steam for a mod that could help me with that issue.

I hope you all have had a great Midsummer!

Yeah sorry about that. I think I owe you guys an exmplanation: I was away for a few days having an amazing cottage trip, but certain 'illuminati Bob' (name has been changed to protect his identity) was to be the stand-in guy for the last week's POTW but he forgot it. After the trip I needed a day off from TWC but the rest of the week was just full of 'outside activities'.

Threads will be up again later today, exactly two weeks since the last one.

If I had a computer that could access steam, I would be actually on steam
