    Hey Swaeft, you'll love this.

I went to see Mad Max Fury Road in 3D at the largest cinema in the world, IMAX in Melbourne (32m by 23m), for a special event where the tickets were dirt cheap (1/3rd of normal price). In addition, it is currently an event called "White Night" in Melbourne where heaps of artsy fartsy stuff happens in the city.

So anyways, outside the IMAX (and the Melbourne Museum where its housed), there were various vehicles from Mad Max Fury Road. 2 polecats, Max's Interceptor, the Doof Wagon, a few motorcycles and Immortan Joe's monster truck!!!
These aren't my photos, but apparently a few hours beforehand (my mates and I arrived shortly before midnight) they were doing performances and playing the flamethrower guitar.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Oh my lord, TAKE MEEEE THEREEE.

Thanks for sharing those, I love the car/truck especially. I honestly don't know why Mad Max has such a dedicated following, but its nice to see them have a festival of sorts.

    Hello there.
I'd like to express some outrage about animations not being allowed in the competitions.

Is there really no wiggle (get it? get it?) room to get around that rule?

EDIT: Btw. where the new threads at?
    Anticipation has me trembling

The first version of my disgusting compilation mod is finished, and has been released if any of you want to try it out for some cool screenshots.
Its for Total War Attila, is only on the Steam Workshop, and is 39gb in size (goddamn!).

Looks like an exceptional set of entries for the POTW contest. This one is going to be hard to choose the winner. To bad only one can win.

I've been around about a year now and guys, really, this is ridiculous how y'all are able to outdo yourselves again and again. I just have to say this week's shots have impressed me the most out of all the competitions (excluding Picture of the Year of course), they really are lovely, and sometimes when I look at the UESW I think I'm looking at POTW. Great stuff guys, really, I appreciate the effort and the screenshots. Cheers!

Hello everyone, I'm back in my native Harbor) as I can see, during my absence, little has changed. I expected to see more screens at competitions, but... Only 3 submissions in POTW? Are you serious? Well, a little later, I'll get into a fight with my screens, just first I have to deal with my affairs.
I was hardened in my wanderings, I was blown by squally winds and burned with their heat the hot sands of the deserts. Tremble, I'm coming. No, not like that: tremble, for I am here.

    Thanks KA)
I increased by one the number of submissions in POTW. Now I can deal with my cases.

Wasn't it yesterday when you said you'd be gone for several weeks? No? Oh dear! Time flies!

Yes mate, time flies, only for me this time dragged on very long. I'll be honest, it was a tough trip for me. But it gave me the opportunity to gain new experience and expand my knowledge. And here's another thing... Guys, believe, there is nothing more expensive than family, spend more time with your family and use every minute of life to give them your love and care. Of course I say banal things, but believe, you will then regret that you did not devote enough time to your loved ones.
Well, my little master Yoda goes out again and tries to set others on the right path. Dudes, I don't want you to think I'm teaching you life, its just my thoughts.
May the force come with you.

I missed the welcoming party?? Hopefully there's some leftover cake...

Welcome back Alex! The POTWs have missed your artistic caliber for far too long...though it has not been wanting for quality at all. You will be facing stiff competition

Hey Swaeft, good to see you!) You know I'm not afraid of competition, I'm just glad for it.
Frankly, I missed our battles. This nostalgia haunts me.) Have you sheathed your sword, or are you still capable of challenge? Anyway, I'm always at your serviceCheers mate!
PS By the way, I'll continue reading your AAR soon.
