Well, ladies and gentlemen, I must say that from next week (in monday) I'm out of the competitions, as I'm going on an expedition (business trip, if you want). I will be away for 3 to 4 months, depending on how my trip goes. I can't say it's going to be a fun walk for me, but that's my job. Naturally, I will not be able to participate and vote during this period.) I'm even unlikely to know the results of the latest competitions. Therefore, I wish you all good luck and I want to say that you all deserve to win and congratulate the winners in advance. And of course I'll miss you all.

Hey Swaeft, you'll love this.

I went to see Mad Max Fury Road in 3D at the largest cinema in the world, IMAX in Melbourne (32m by 23m), for a special event where the tickets were dirt cheap (1/3rd of normal price). In addition, it is currently an event called "White Night" in Melbourne where heaps of artsy fartsy stuff happens in the city.

So anyways, outside the IMAX (and the Melbourne Museum where its housed), there were various vehicles from Mad Max Fury Road. 2 polecats, Max's Interceptor, the Doof Wagon, a few motorcycles and Immortan Joe's monster truck!!!
These aren't my photos, but apparently a few hours beforehand (my mates and I arrived shortly before midnight) they were doing performances and playing the flamethrower guitar.

Thanks for sharing those, I love the car/truck especially. I honestly don't know why Mad Max has such a dedicated following, but its nice to see them have a festival of sorts.

I've been around about a year now and guys, really, this is ridiculous how y'all are able to outdo yourselves again and again. I just have to say this week's shots have impressed me the most out of all the competitions (excluding Picture of the Year of course), they really are lovely, and sometimes when I look at the UESW I think I'm looking at POTW. Great stuff guys, really, I appreciate the effort and the screenshots. Cheers!

Hello everyone, I'm back in my native Harbor) as I can see, during my absence, little has changed. I expected to see more screens at competitions, but... Only 3 submissions in POTW? Are you serious? Well, a little later, I'll get into a fight with my screens, just first I have to deal with my affairs.

Yes mate, time flies, only for me this time dragged on very long. I'll be honest, it was a tough trip for me. But it gave me the opportunity to gain new experience and expand my knowledge. And here's another thing... Guys, believe, there is nothing more expensive than family, spend more time with your family and use every minute of life to give them your love and care. Of course I say banal things, but believe, you will then regret that you did not devote enough time to your loved ones.
Well, my little master Yoda goes out again and tries to set others on the right path. Dudes, I don't want you to think I'm teaching you life, its just my thoughts.
