As I'm sure you have all noticed, Swaeft has very kindly stepped in at extremely short notice to deal with the outstanding competitions. He's helping out purely while we need emergency assistance. That means that we can't reasonably expect him to keep things going the way they usually would. In other words, it's possible competitions will be run a bit late for a while (unless KA returns, in which case things will obviously go back to running on time). Please shower your thanks (and any spare rep you might have available) on Swaeft for helping us out.


While I'm here, I'd like to invite all of you to think about whether or not you could spare a bit of time to join the Picture Competitions staff team. As you can tell, we really do need more members for the team, so if you can spare a few minutes every week or so, and you're interested in helping to keep these competitions running for everyone, please PM either me or Alwyn.

I'm just dropping in to say that the current competitions might well be a bit delayed. Even Content Hex aren't cruel enough to demand that Alexander78 should run his first set of competitions before he's even had time to find out how to do that!
