Icon4 Help with unespecified error in battles

If this question is already resolved please do not insult me and support me with the link to the solution.

I have a problem with Medieval 2 Total War and its expansions. Installed it and patches and then the expanssions. I can play on the campaign map and I have no problem. I can attack and give autoresolve and no problem. But when I want to control the battle as cargo and even I can see the drives and the Start deployment button. But just seconds after sending a message that says you Medieval Total War Encountered an unispecified error and closes. This does not happen with the expansion Britain or America. I want to play in Teutonic Crusaders and imperial campaign but I always boot that mistake. Now reinstall several times deleting all waste. I deleted the files geography and still does not work. Hardware can not be because I did run on older machines and I can play very fluid expansions America and Britain

    Possibly a bug?
    What units are involved?

All unit types. I've tested even with custom battles with different units and different factions and always happens that error.

I've had this problem before. Follow my instructions to the letter and you will be fine.

    1. Uninstall the game completely
    2. Close all other programs including internet browsers
    3. Install Medieval 2 Total War in a different folder than before
    4. Go do something else until it is 100% completed.
    5. Install Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms.
    6. Do something else until it is 100% completed.
    7. Play game without errors.

Sometimes when you have other programs running the installer might make mistakes in installing the game. The install wizard tells you specifically to turn all other programs off, and you would be wise to listen to it in future.

Have you checked your VirtualStore? Sometimes unpacked files get stored in there. If there's descr_geography files hiding in there, they would cause CTD's upon entering a battle.

You can try installing somewhere than in your "program files" folder. Maybe It'll work.

In the store I wanted to change the game and for some reason my cousin could install without problems, I guess I'll have to buy another PC. I still find it weird because the shogun2 the rome empire and run very well. I've had to download the game so that it can play, do not really like that because it's a pain to install with cracks and it looks like you cant put the patches or mods. Anyway I would ask descr_names.txt file original and I'm trying to modify the features of Denmark and England putting the greatest generals in descr_strat.txt existing. For some reason I can not unpack the game do you buy does not come with this utility. Please copy / paste the file. Thanks to all.

We cannot upload unmodded files including those buried in the packs.
Download it and do it right. Mods do install on them.
Cracks in this context can get you banned from the site as it is against CA and Sega's EULA and this site's Terms of Service.
