    Default Man Power in WWI

    Hi!
Thanks a lot for the great mod. I've spent weeks on it.
I wonder whether it is possible to take manpower consumption into consideration.
In NTW, the army size is still relatively small (at most 10K for an army) in comparison to what's really happening.
The number is just fine for a game. But this means all the nations have virtually infinite manpower.
Is it possible to increase the manpower consumption for recruiting armies so that countries may face a population crisis after years of war?
    Thanks again.

Sounds interesting, but it's faily difficult to actually kill millions of people, even over the course of a long campaign in TGW mod. But sure it sounds like it would add an interesting element to gameplay

Perhaps instead of using the actual historical populations (which would be millions of people) why not divide the numbers down to more manageable levels? It may not be realistic but it would make the game even more strategic and fun.
    Just my thought

Im not certain but, im pretty sure the average army during world war 1 was ~400-600k troops in game we have ~10k troops in an army so its 40-60 times smaller. So take historically populations and divide by a number between 40-60.
    My mods
-Mod Leader for the Wheel Of Time This is not the beginning, but it is a beginning
-Mod Leader for Shogun 2: Foreign Invasion if you want a mod with alot of units this is for you, not only is there the 40 units CA made theres planned to be atleast 177 NEW units when its done.
-Modder in the World War I and Shogun II project. The only full scale mod for FOTS and it plays nothing like FOTS. FOTS may have Gatling guns, WW1&S2 has tekidanto samurai, SNLF, MGs, kisho snipers, assault infantry(shotguns) just to name a few.

Yeah, dividing population looks a brilliant idea.
Although it's fairly difficult to kill millions, but the available manpower for battlefield of the nations was indeed limited and losing men was going to bring great social instability, especially for the ententes.
Im not a moder so I dont know whether it's possible to connect war awareness (virtually not working in 4.5 - 4.6.1) to loss of men on battle field. Well at least, I think war awareness should be more significant than previously.
I think this may encourage limited offensive strategy for long time war which was really dominating during the middle of the great war.
Thanks again moders. You really make my day(s).
