Default Possible Western half of the Map on Medieval II box art in Newsletter

If you look closely at the Medieval II box art in the newsletter you can get a good view of what appears to be the Western part of map for the game - Iceland appears to be in, all of Norway and their is a huge chunk of America. Unfortunately I can't post a pic of it, maybe someone else can. Its not in game but why would they put a totally different map on the cover?

Producer's daughter: [enters] Hi mister. Thanks for fixing my doll.

    [hugs him]

Larry: Aww, don't worry about it sweetheart.

Producer's daughter: [looks at him, scared, and runs out] Mommy, mommy. The old man's in the bathroom, and he's got something hard in his pants.

Surprinsingly, there's no information about America in the campaign map screenshots. I don't see America, nor Iceland.

Well most the campaign map hasn't been revealed yet. It apparently will get bigger as the Americas are discovered.

You can see it but if you click on the artwork it goes straight to totalwar.com and not a larger image of it. Also the video on total war site for MT2W is going to be the intro as all videos for the games are the intros of that game

    :hmmm:

I believe you shouldn't think too much about what is on the cover. I don't think it's an actual representation of the campaign map, that it is more to "let you know" that America is in the game. It's marketing.
