Can't start a new campaign(3.2)

Well,after facing a lot of CTDs with the 3.1 version I cleared everything and reinstalled tatw,this time having the 3.2 patch.The problem is I can't start a new campaign,after clicking "start" the game returns to single player menu.How can I fix this?

I assume you're using Windows 7 or Vista? If so, clear the virtual store of any Third Age related files. Back up any save games there if you want to keep them. The virtual store can be found here:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Sega\Medieval2 Total War

Thanks StealthFox!!After deleting Map.rnw and my old saves(and fixing the timezone bug) I can start a new campaign with no more crashes!
