This might be obsolete information, but superstitious is gained by random chance or when a general is affected by a disaster (I'm not sure if plague qualifies).

After level 3, called "Slave to Superstition" there is no way to remove the trait.

Below level 3, this may be countered by gaining points of Pragmatic, which has a 1 in 50 chance if your general ends the turn in enemy lands.

It seems that it will be difficult to remove.

Silly Beliefs (Superstitious 1)- -1 Piety, gained after 1 point of Superstitious
Superstitious (Superstitious 2)- -1 Piety, -1 Troop Morale, upgrade after 2 points of Superstitious
Slave to Superstition (Superstitious 3)- -2 Piety, -1 Authority, -2 Troop Morale, upgrade after 3 points of Superstitious

Superstitious has Pragmatic as an antitrait and a NoGoingBack level of 3. On coming of age, a general gains a point of Superstitious with 3% probability. If his father has one or more levels of Superstitious, he gains a point with 20% probability. If a character is hurt by a disaster, the game takes a random percent. If that is greater than 96, he gains a point of Superstitious with 15% probability. Superstitious is self-perpetuating. At the end of any turn, a general with one or more levels of Superstitious gains a point with 4% probability.
Mostly Rational (Pragmatic 1)- +1 Authority, gained after 1 point of Pragmatic
No Nonsense (Pragmatic 2)- +2 Authority, +1 Troop Morale, upgrade after 2 points of Pragmatic
Utterly Pragmatic (Pragmatic 3)- +3 Authority, +2 Troop Morale, upgrade after 3 points of Pragmatic

Pragmatic has Superstitious as an antitrait and a NoGoingBack level of 3. On coming of age, if a general's father has one or more levels of Pragmatic, he gains a point with 20% probability. At the end of any turn, a general who ends his turn in enemy lands gains a point of Pragmatic with 2% probability.

It was made for M2TW, so it's not complete for TATW. Also a couple of names have changed from M2TW -> TATW.
    In it for the rep.

TATW aint the worst... In SS my generals have all this:
Social Drinker (Drink 1)- +1 Command, +1 Popularity, gained after 1 point of Drink
Gets Merry (Drink 2)- +1 Popularity, upgrade after 2 points of Drink
Steady Drinker (Drink 3)- -1 Command, +1 Popularity, upgrade after 4 points of Drink
Drunken Heathen (Drink 4)- -2 Command, -1 Authority, -2% Tax Income, upgrade after 8 points of Drink
Alcoholic (Drink 5)- -3 Command, -3 Authority, -5% Tax Income, upgrade after 16 points of Drink
Paralytic (Drink 6)- -5 Command, -5 Authority, -10% Tax Income, epithet "the Drunkard", upgrade after 32 points of Drink
Sadly my heir or king ends up with Paralytic no what i do ;/
Yes i have stopped building brothels and forth, but it doesn't solve the problem in the big end

It is a hard way to make sure that your generals only have the good traits. I must admit that i have given up on that and make them live their own life as governors.

That is because you are Danish and play the Danes. They have a higher chance of hitting the bottle- I guess we have a reputation ;-)

I do not have that super traits list here, but it says so.

Have you made sure you destroyed all brothels as well? Important in case there's a general inside.

If not, any turn that general won't move, an increased chance occurs that he will gain points in that trait.

Yeah, it's completely made me stop buildings brothers or anything in that series, unless it's a town I know I'll leave empty forever. I actually have to plan where I'm supposed to have my generals 20 turns on beforehand to make sure I don't get that trait
Under the patronage of Finlander. Once patron to someone, no longer.
    Content's well good, innit.
