Icon4 Third Age Crashes Upon Launch

Hello. I just recently bought Kingdoms so I installed the Third Age mod and it installed without problems and such and did what the mod page said to do for steam installation. When I go to launch the game through the Medieval II launcher it loads up and I see the Third Age Total War loading screen for just a few seconds but then the whole application just crashes and I don't see any error screen or anything, just back to my desktop. It also appears that the Launcher is still running in the background, could hear the music and had to close it manually from the task manager. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also have this problem and have been trying to fix it to no avail. I have the gold edition and I am not running it with steam. I have also found that when I try to run as adminstrator it brings up and error that kingdoms.exe cannot be found even though it is still in the program files.

I got maybe only a temporary solution I renamed the Crusades file to crusade and the third age file to crusades. Then launched the third age through the Crusades shortcut. The first screen is the crusades then it shows the TA intro. Hope this helps and that I don't have any more crashes.

    Okay, try it like this:

Completely uninstall and remove any TATW related files.

Install all parts of TATW (3.0 Part 1, 3.0 Part 2, 3.1, and 3.2) to the desktop.

Then move the Third Age folder to the Steam/Steamapps/Common/Medieval II Total War/mods folder.

Then rename one of the Kingdoms campaigns to something else, like change americas to americas2.

Then rename the Third Age folder to americas. Finally, select the americas campaign from the Steam menu and the mod should launch.

I did this but when I start the Third Age icon shows up but the Americas campaign begins. Do you know how to fix this?

Hey i have the same problem and im just wondering, should i install Part 1 and then part two ontop of the part 1 folder for example: I install part 2 on the Third_Age_3 folder, or should i just install part 2 straight on my desktop?
