Game speed

My PC somehow can't keep up with mtw. I do not know where the problem lies because it matches the minimal system requirements. I even went to system requirements lab and passed the test. My hardware:

-Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2050 @ 1.60 GHz
-1.6 GB of RAM
-Windows XP Pro 32-bit
-Intel(R) GMA 950 Graphics Card

Anyone has a way of making the game working faster with these components? I made the quality of graphics low in the, got the game running faster, but not as fast as I like it to be.

Your computer is really obsolete. My recommendation would simply be fork out a couple of hundred to get a new one. You need a better CPU and graphics card. Some more RAM wouldn't hurt either, but 1.6 gigs should be fine on minimal settings.

Your computer was minimum or less when the game was released.
As said above me, time to upgrade it if you wish decent gameplay.

In the meantime, smaller unit size may help.

Small unit size and no eye candy.
It will look ugly but should be more playable.

Try increasing virtual memory to 1gb or more, before starting the game close all other programs (check hidden icons) and go to start>run, type services.msc , press enter, close all services listed except Windows Audio and a few that can't be closed. It will close everything, from antivirus (if you allow to close it) to internet connection. When you restart your PC the services will start back again. Also defrag your pc from time to time.

These should get you to maximum. I know because I've been doing these a few years because I only had an integrated graphics card of 128mb. Now I have a new motherboard with 256mb integrated graphics
