Game Crashing upon Start-up after working normally

So after I was finished editing my export_descr_buildings file, I save and exited out of everything. Upon starting up my game, it crashed back to desktop without giving a specified reason, similar to how many other threads describe it. The problem, however, is that the install of the game I am playing with has functioned normally ever since I downloaded it in July. This start-up crash only started after I edited said file. All help would be most appreciated.

You made a mistake somewhere in that file, maybe a typo somewhere. Did you make a backup file? (#1 rule of modding! lol )
