Steam Help - [Not mod-related]

Ok, normally I would post this in the forums but this isn't related to the mod [This is also the most browsed M2TW forum so I decided I'd get a faster response here]

I really want to play this mod [My friend rambled about it and I just saw the Hobbit so yeah]

I download both M2TW and Kingdoms on steam.
I set M2TW to download first.
at 3.8 Gigabytes, the download freezes [and it installs Kingoms instead]
I have tried rebooting steam
I have tried deleting content and reinstalling [What got Empire to install]

I would like to reitterate that this is NOT A MOD PROBLEM. Just to make sure this post isn't move to a place where the people that work on the mod need to bother.
I know this is a problem, but it's an odd problem. I have never encountered it on steam.

By Freeze, I mean I can resume the download but it pauses 30 seconds later. I don't have the willpower to do that.
