_Relocate the British to Egypt
_only train peasents, no other units allowed.
In the chaos of battle, when the ground beneath your feet is a slurry of blood, puke, piss and the entrails of friends and enemies alike, it's easy to turn to the gods for salvation. But it's soldiers who do the fighting, and soldiers who do the dying, and the gods never get their feet wet.
Only peasants has been done and it works.
other ideas:
-move any nation to british isles, than conquer the entire world using a massive fleet and a lot of landings.
-use only horse archers with scythians/parthians. Only merc infantry allowed for sieges and peasants for defending cities.
History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.

Conquer the world using a Roman faction but not using any legions.
Moved Armenia to British isles, 198 BC, Large city as capitol(Londinium)
Edit:Couple turns later, starting to think of an ancient WW2 IE, land a force at Africa, a few turns later, Normandy, then push to take Germany and Italy, and Africa.

You can give the roman senate every province in the game (because they don't get rioting), then place the faction you want to play on the british isles and try to conquer the entire world.

Or just pick the weakest faction you can find and start a world domination campaign with them.
Dacia?
Not sure about them, but Numidia comes up a lot when talking about weak factions.
Be Thrace, abandon all your provinces and migrate to Crete.
Crete and Rhodes, Palma, Sardinia, maybe Salamis? Medditarian Island survival as Thrace.
Wait and keep only a single city for most of the campaign. After a long time Thrace,Carthage and Egypt will be the only non-roman Factions left. Then try to conquer the world! of course it will take a lot of time and you will be board but it can be a really challenging campaign having to fight fully developed cities and top notch armies!
^Oh yes, but they are hard too!!!
If you're looking for a challenge try this.
Game settings on Vh/Vh.
Conquer entire world but leave Seleucids with one province. Build up every province on the map to max. Give Seleucids all of it apart from Rome and take them on. It's a hard challenge, but very possible.
