Default Saving modded pack in PFM

    Hello!
I tried to change the upkeep costs for units using PFM. I didnt manage to "save as" the mod because it said "Will only save MOD non-CA MOVIE files with current Setting". I tries to uncheck the "CA files are read-only" setting in the optionstab but when I tried to save what I have done with that unchecked, the right part of the PFM window went blank grey and the whole PFM went "not responding". The modded version didnt save nor did it overwrite the original version.
Btw I tried to mod the data.pack file, but there also is a data_fots.pack file in my data folder. I looked int them with PFM and both of them contain both the Sengoku Jidai and the Boshin War units. Which one should I mod and how?

P.S. the whole goal of my modding was to get cheaper upkeep on units without the rest of the features of the Radious Upkeep Mod which contains changes (e.g. changing unit recruitment requirements, making elite units recruitable a million times) I didnt like at all so I decided to make my own version as I consider it most enjoyable.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!

You should create a new pack and not mod an existing CA one.
