Default Alexander -- "Chasing a Dream"

Hi, this is my Alexander Music Video that I made. Its aim is not to be technical and full of effects, but rather to capture the life of the successes and failures of Alexander -- especially his realization that he would never achieve his dream no matter how hard he tried. So look for those thematic elements, then the video would make sense. I used Enigma's "Gravity of Love" as the song. Enjoy

    I'd appreciate comments too.

    Thanks.

It took me a few weeks, which is pretty long considering the length of the video. It's mostly because I have school now and am working so I don't have all the time in the world.

Umm, Felixion...this isn't a mashup of any previous video, I made it myself.

Isn't this just a mashup of a previously made movie with new music?

You also filmed a movie about Alexander the Great starring Colin Farrell and Angelina Jolie?

omg...This is a "Music Video", meaning you take different clips from a source(s), combine them with music and get the result. It can be made for various reasons, some just for the plain display of effects, some to portray a certain theme, and etc. Anything else you would like me to clarify for you? When you wrote your first post it seemed as if you were implying that i copied someone...

I'm not degrading the effort, I just really don't understand the accomplishment of simply cutting out parts of a movie, (which is probably copywrited by the way, and regardless of wether or not you're making money probably shouldn't be posted on the internet), adding a cheesy song to convey the same theme the movie did in a few minutes.

    Maybe I just don't understand.

    I guess not.

I then wonder why there are entire sites dedicated for the display of people's videos based on movies, games, and tv shows. :hmmm:
