Removing Time Turn On Campaign Mode MTW

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows how to remove the turn limit on Medieval Total War

You will need to edit

\Medieval - Total War\campmap\startpos\EARLY.TXT

(It is a good idea to save backup of the file before attempting to edit it)

Find the section:

SetStartDate::	1087
SetPeriod:: EARLY
SetEarlyPeriodStartDate::	1087
SetHighPeriodStartDate::	1205
SetLatePeriodStartDate::	1321

On the next line you want to add something like:

SetGameEndDate::	1500

substitute 1500 with whatever date you want
