OK I was raised an Anglican. My ministers had wives. They always did.
What sort of dubious system would demand that a man go celibate? The Bible doesn't demand it. It says if a man can do it, then he should do it. But if he can't do it, don't do it. Marry a woman and raise fine children.
Here we seem to have a system in which various men of various mental ruminations get to decide whether or not they qualify as celibates or not. Men who in the end fail.
So a man-made system is constructed in which idiots have control over their own desires, but pretend all the while they are too pure to crack a fat.
Some little girl sits on their lap and it is all over. They're 30 years old, they've never known a woman, and some innocent kid just happens to titillate their balls by accident by hopping on their knee.
Pray tell me how celibacy has ever helped humankind?
Pray tell me how having a wife and children is somehow lesser than being a strange solo-masturbator who won't admit it?
Pray tell me how such despicable acts have become the face of the church for millions of people seeking answers? Pray tell me why anybody would stick up for them? Pray tell me why the hell they are trying to restrain their urges in the first place unless specifically directed to do so for some real reason?
And we wonder why Protestants and Catholics went to war. You are embarrassing us.
