I considered making it multiple choice, but it is supposed to be one's favorite genre, rather than every genre one likes.Originally Posted by Prarara

Hmm...ultimately it goes between Jazz and Classical. Although I am quite partial to Blues and Ska (real ska, not skapunk) as well.
Ah well if choices have to be made, Jazz it is!
voted 'other', meaning eclectic.
You forgot latin, soul/r&b, world, electronica...

Definitely my favourite genre. I must have over a 1000 tracks. Not Country and Western mind, that stuff doesn't really appeal to me.
Also rock, classic rock that is and maybe classical from time to time.
R n' B is a part of hip hop. Anyways I like too many genres to name a favourite. I hate metal though.Originally Posted by Mesamedasu

Classical is my single most favorite. However, Volkslieder and Bluegrass come in as close seconds, followed by military marches, and then rap. Not gangsta rap, but the classic rap, and german rap.
Bizzarely enough, rap/country remixed doesn't sound as bad as they do individually.
Voted Alternative/Indie. Not to confuse indie with evil New-Wave Post Punk mind.

hardcore.
although i enjoy post-hardcore and other genres up there.
and cheers for noticing the similarities between hardcore and true emo, although i think they should be two seperate options...but i doubt any of the sheltered members here would know.

Classic Rock!
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Rolling Stones etc.
Although I do like a lot of other music like Metallica, Kaiser Chiefs and others...
Country! Fellow rednecks of the World Unite! I am on a country prefference right now, but I also like Celtic, Classical, and a little Rock mixed into it. Don't really like rap or metal, opera hurts my mind.
Classic Rock
Alternative Rock (The way Stalins Ghost likes it)
Jazz (Gato Barbieri ftw! Not to forget Stan Getz, either)
Classical
I wish I could have chosen more, but whatever.
Listening to Megadeth - Tornado of Souls as we speak, 'nuff said.

Well i voted country, even though my final decision is tied with about half of those choices and i had to pick one. Plus i am listening to the most amazing song by Rascal Flatts (Country group) and it makes me favor country for the time being.
