Hightower Up!
King Robert Baratheon Please!
Hey how was your trip Badger-dude?
Trip was great, thanks! Saw quite a lot, including lots of awesome ruins! Pompeii was amazing!
Nice, in 16 hours I will be landing in Venice to enjoy my christmas break! I may stop by Piza to check out the leaning tower, its gonna be a great trip
Nice! I chose to see Tuscany rather than Pisa, so you can tell me what it is like!
Badger, stefan1921 asked for Robert, not Renly.
darry for me
Whoops, wrong Baratheon! Easy mistake. I will fix when i am back on a pc as on phone atm
I'll take Yronwood.
So we have Arryn, Renly, Martell, and Targaryen still to claim.
gonna be the targs, FYAHANDBLUDWERAREMEHDERHGUNS!
... Please write every RP in Dany-speak?
Welcome aboard everyone. That just leaves Renly and House Martell?
While Dornish troops are still AOR, they have been rebalanced so that they are not as handicapped in an AR game as previous. They should perform MUCH better as a faction overall.
Renly gains many settlements and has enough power to match the Targ's in the field, unlike in previous versions. Targ's navy is no longer able to easily smash the royal fleet, so Targ needs to move quickly to land her troops SOMEWHERE.
A Targ exodus from Tarth to some loyalist stronghold - Usually Dorne or the Reach - is a good way of preserving their strength. In 0.6, Targ is a threat more because of her potential allies rather than her own military forces.
Speaking of RP, thread is here

I'll take Arryn
I'll take Martell
Only Renly to go?![]()
"Får jag kalla dig Bajen? Det är lättare att komma ihåg..."
After a chat with Dux, it appears that the rebalancing process should not be so much of a pain, as I can use a modified descr_start to star the hotseat, so the previous rule about Hightower and Tyrell can be forgotten - I will edit this in descr_strat before we start.
I will also cut Tully's starting income from 10,000 to 8,000, as they already have two 3/4 stacks in the field. Most factions start with 10,000. This brings Tully's Turn 2 economy in line with Stark's and Arryn's. Lannister MAY receive a small financial boost.
If we cannot find a Renly by tomorrow, I will sub him just to get the game started.
Check the map preview in the release thread. Renly has received several settlements, often, these have not had a location mentioned in the books so I have given them strategic locations. Nightsong has also been added to the South, standing on the border between the Stormlands, the Reach, and Dorne.
As long as you keep Renly or Edric alive this time, you will do fine- That is Renly's biggest weakness.
I have just played an ai campaign as the Targs, and rushed the Stormlands and wiped them out in about 15 turns. That was done, however, while Stannis and Robert sat twiddling their thumbs. If you can co-ordinate with your allies, you should be able to hold at least the Northern Stormlands, and then be in a good position for a counter-attack.
Don't worry. It's not like a master genius is playing the Targs like it was in v.3 .
Don't worry, the Starks got your back.
Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.
