Egypt Swap Game

Ok, so heres wahts going down right now. After some ferocious battles witht he Selucid Empire, pvoerty, and even a civil war, I have taken 3 cities, and lost one of the ones I took (Antioch), and was defeated in an attempt to re-take it.

I would take bostra and the city east to damascus.From the image i assume that these are still rebels possesion, so it would be easy to fall.Immediate actions shoud be taken though because Parthia might get them before you.

Also i would make a fort in the borders with antioch and attack seleucia.

alright so after wut tech did heres wut i did:

first i conquered the rebel town of palmyra:

then I attacked the Seleucid town of Hatra:

at the same time I attacked the Numidian town of Siwa:

and for my last turn I have moved an army in position to attack another Seleucid town (Tarsus)(that mich can do if he wishes):

Niiiiiicccceeee. Looking really good. I see you took those chariots out of Alexandria. I didnt because I was worried about the ublice order. I was focusig my attention more on the fighting in the south of the Seleucid empire, so alot of my money was going into that, not garrisons or anything like that. Good job though.

Watching your game with interest.

For public order control a peasant unit, 240men strong, is more than twice as effective as two chariots (108x2=216men). Chariots can be awesome in battle....use their mobility to get behind and above an enemy and shoot them to death. Whatever you do dont allow infantry to attack them.

Wont be long before you are:
- fighting Perthia. Probobly the toughest enemy the Egyptians face.
- worried about public order in the nile delta
- facing a tough Pontus

Forts. Block mountain passes and are safe places to station your advancing armies.

true serverous but im hoping that by the time that happens our gold levels and military levels will be strong enough to defeat parthia (giving rediculous amounts of gold) because parthia is mainly cavalry and we have a lot of spearmen and soon pharoh's bowmen and chariots which combined can easily destroy cavalry. Numidia should be easy enough to defeat giving us extra income. Im really only worried about contact with the Romans since they have taken over Carthage's towns in Africa. Pontus is tough though but I think we'll make it. Oh and usually I don't use Peasants because of their weak morale and fighting ability, unless the city needing extra garrison is in the middle of the empire and immune to attack. and I doubt public order will that bad anyways. We haven't built many religious buildings yet and all the yellow and blue cities are that way because I had the tax rates very high, so lowering of tax rates and religious buildings should make the cities cheerful again if needed.

I'm goin away for a week and I haven't been able to play the SWAP game due to internet trouble so I didn't get anywhere. I'm sendin u the game Mich cause I don't think it's fair for you to wait another week after waiting for Tech.

To all who have been keeping track of what is going on here, and to my comerades, I must regretfully say that I can no longer participate in the SWAP game. School just started for me, and I will be very busy, not to mention that I have already been letting everybody down by missing deadlines, etc. So, sorry for keeping you waiting on this, and good luck.

its up to u. if we have just the two of us then we'll get to play it more often and we won't have to wait a while for another player who will have to get oriented on where we r in the game.
