Game Unplayable

I've got a very strange problem. Every time when I'm playing Medieval II campaign after a couple of minutes the chatwindow pops up, the game just randomly loads the last save and the sound stops. This even happens when I'm playing a custom battle. Does anybody know what's wrong?

Reinstall the game and if you want your saved games then just copy the saves folder in another place and after reinstall put it back.

www.realtek.com.tw has newer High Definition audio codecs than gigabyte does.
www.amd.com has newer graphics drivers.
Activate your copy of Win 7 if not done so and run Windows Update manually installing ALL software options starting with Service Pack 1.

Uninstall Daemon Tools and its virtual drives, then try it.

That did'nt help as well. It only made things worse. Now Medieval II keeps on running even after I've closed the game.

Wireless keyboard setups have plagued this game from the start. Many of your symptoms are identical to those that have been seen before. Give it a try and let us know if it works. Good luck!

It's wireless but I can't say for certain it's a keyboard. The symptoms fit but it may be something else. I don't feel like doing homework on this yet so I'll look at it later.
