Issue with the Campaign loading.

Greetings ladies and gents. I've just finished installing SS 6.4 on my computer and at first, things seem to be alright, except for the campagin itself.

As soon as I've finished choosing my options (Faction,difficulty, etc.) and click to Start, then the game brings me back to the main menu instead of loading in to the game itself. Ofcourse I can still hear the sound of a campaign loading but it doesn't follow suit.

I then decided to try the 6.3 version and it works fine, even the campaign itself.
Does anyone know what the problem can be?

PS: When I started the launcher in the SS folder, to choose the options of the AI. It seems to get un' error - "Error while trying to create a temporary file. Operation aborted"

Even after re-installing the game it always gets the same issue, regardless. Even my previous selections are already chosen for me.

Greetings Tharidor. I might have a solution to your problem. You will have to right click on your Med2 folder and hit properties. Then security, and give yourself full access over the folders in your Med2 location. That fixed my problem with the game not loading.

Greetings Tharidor. I might have a solution to your problem. You will have to right click on your Med2 folder and hit properties. Then security, and give yourself full access over the folders in your Med2 location. That fixed my problem with the game not loading.

turn off uac, and right click the ss_install.exe (either ss6.3.exe or ss6.4.exe) and click 'run as adminstrator) this will allow temp files to be written.

Not a problem Tharidor. I had to factory reset my computer and installed MED 2 again. But I noticed, it wouldn't allow me to play the game. But i'm glad you can play now, good luck.
