cant start the game!

everything works perfectly until the loading screen before the menu.before the bar moves even a bit the screen becomes black and it goes to the desktop,where there is a window that says activemovie window,and then i get an error
help!

You need to let us know more "background". Do you use Steam? W7?

And you've followed the install instructions? You've got RTW/BI 1.6 installed?

the error report shows this C:\DOCUME~1\POWERU~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\210e_appcompat.txt

I'm afraid I have no idea what, or even if that means something. I will ask Gäiten to take a look at this, though it's X-mas now, and he may be busy. Sorry I couldn't be of better help.
