    Default Custom settlements issues - Help fixing them!

    ISSUES ALREADY REGISTERED:

    Imladris - There will be a new version. - DONE

    Black Gate - Fix the reinforcement deployment on mountains, make attacking army comming from mordor to start battle inside mordor back on the gate and not outsie mordor in front of the gate. -FIXED

    Minas Morgul - Make walls acessible. - FIXED

    Dol Guldur - Fix problems with ladders. -FIXED

    Osgiliath - Avoid armies/reinforcements to be spawn in wrong places. Put a better water plane in it. Change the terrain to look more natural. Make building not passable by projectiles. - DONE

    Minas Tirith - Try square on the last level with a second gate inside the city. DONE

    Orc settlement - Bug on walls. - ??? - I did not managed to find that issue in any orc settlement.

    Hornburg - Fix the reinforcement deployment - ??? - I found no issue when testing it.

    Weathertop - AI doing nothing when salling fort. - Unfixable.

    Cair Andros - Fix the reinforcement deployment. Fix problems with ladders and siege towers. fix AI pathfinding, make the river passable by troops. (ford) - Settlement layout absolutely useless, the AI does not work from any side when attacking. Tried LOTS of new layouts, none worked. A new settlement must be made for it.

    Moria - it's a nightmare trying to control units in it. it looks real pretty but the camera jumps around so much when i move it as it hovers X distance off the ground.

    Dol Guldur - might not be a settlement issue (as I have had sporadic issues here and there) but the two battles I fought there I experienced extreme lag with 2 armies attacking me. Then it would go away. Then it would come back. It would stop lagging when paused. Again, this might be just me.

    Just going to say that i had the same problem but on a field battle, not a siege.

    I think this might be a general bug and not related to siege battles or custom settlements.

    Edoras: the center plaza is too small.

    I guess my more general question is the amount of space available to deploy and move troops. Since it is the custom settlements we talk about, is it possible to have wider streets or areas for the armies to use? Also, would this make AI pathfinding easier? Forgive me if my question is ignorant as I have no programming skills whatsoever, I'm just curious if that is a way to move forward (like the upgraded Imladris as you mentioned).

    The biggest problem is in Imladris,it's way to hard (sometimes impossible) to arrange the units as a defender.

    I already have a new version with this fixed. Just wait until KK approve it (or not).

    minas tirith. there is huge lag for me. might just be my comp but n one of the other custom settlements do that.

    Yes it is your computer, I have no lag on it.

    Im looking for pathfinding problems or deployment zones too tight.

    I'm not sure if this is still an Issue since I don't have my copy of M2TW on this computer to test it at the moment but I remember at The Black gate If the attacker has more than one army (Say you are roleplaying when gondor and rohan attacked the gate) Rohans army would spawn in the mounts and not move.

    Yes this is a isse.

    I will make some changes in the black gate soon. Your complaint is registered.

    Minas Tirith ones cannot be made to be acessible. Ill take a look on Minas Morgul.

    Isengard is difficult to defend and easy to take, exactly how it should be, every settlement has his own features.
    Stronger gates, as fas as I know are possible, but chaning on will change all them.

    This and Isengard is too hard too defend, once the gate is breached your screwed...
    Could you make the gates stronger for Minas Tirith and Isengard and maybe Moria and Erebor?

    Don't know if it can be done, the not destroyed wall pieces in not rebuild Osgiliath are not accessible.
    Would be cool to place units on them, like the soldiers stood on them in the movies.

    The custom Orc settlement has a spot where units can "clip" through the wall. I think I have a picture of this somewhere and or could get one if needed.

    Amon Sul, you already have a new version of it, but make sure that if a sieged army tries to break the sieg that they actually move out to meet their opponent.

    Yes, a sallying army does not (currently) come down(i guess the pathfinding is screwy, because I've also issued units to run to the top and they move for a second then stop.
