Is President Obama a War Criminal?

Right-o. As far as drone strikes in the Middle East go, it apparently isn't all that uncommon for the US military to engage in double tap drone strikes - they bomb a target once, and then hit it again when first responders arrive. These types of attacks may constitute war crimes. President Obama is the one who has to give permission for the drones to strike, and is responsible for any deaths caused by them. Ralph Nader has already gone so far as to call Obama a war criminal. While I am against drone strikes (or most military action, really) and I find these attacks to be despicable, I have a hard time calling him a 'war criminal' and putting him up there with the likes of Hitler, Himmler & friends.

So, what do you guys think? Justified military actions or war crimes?

The way they did their study was flawed. The people they interviewed were all effected by the drone strikes. Thats sample bias. Samples are supposed to be random. Then, their samples did not represent the population.

In fact the OP's first source is biased in of itself. Not the newspaper itself, but who the newspaper interviewed. This information on double-tap drone strikes is coming from drone strike victims of that story and the lawyers representing them. Can you any more biased?

If my own government wanted to kill me I am sure there are far more cost effective ways.

He should be triald though, like all the geezers still alive today. We need a better world.
