    Default Your own Scenarios

Does anybody else ever create their own scnearios with unwritten rules. I don't mean just Saruman doesn't leave Isengard but more full on. For example, I recently started a SE campaign with the following:

    1. Celeborn stays within 4 turns of Lothlorien.
    2. After he dies, I can't use the mirror of Galadriel (she left Middle-Earth after).
    3. The next general who gets the Lord of Lothlorien ancilliary has same rules.
    4. They can't marry (they're not in the family but adoption is the only way to get this).
    5. When Celeborn dies, I can only make trade agreements or diplomacy with the HE.
    6. If they are in trouble, I must help the HE and liberate they're starting provinces.
    7. I can't attack after controlling Mirkwood and the Anduin Vale up to Wrakyaburg. Framsburg is off limits.
    8. Raiding parties of light infantry, archers and the cavalry can leave the borders to attack orc factions.
    9. Ignore 7 if any 3 of the following are held by orc factions after the barracks event. Minas Tirith, Dol Amroth, Edoras, Bree, Dale, Erebor.
    10. Ignore 7 if the ring is in possession of an orc faction.
    11. Attacks on Mordor are only permitted with either faction leader/faction heir or 10 star general through the black gate.

*Isengard isn't counted as an orc faction unless it holds Helm's Deep and Edoras.

Celeborn died turn 16. Gondor are reasnoable, HE are the only other faction that aren't so-so or worse. Of my allowed rgions, Wrakyaburg and Amon Gastal are left but AG is held by a massive OOTMM army which won't move.

Any ideas for others are welcome.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I am me. You are not me. You are you. If I was you, I wouldn't be me.
If you were me, I'd be sad.But I wouldn't then be me because you'd be me so you wouldn't be me because I wasn't me because you were me but you couldn't be because I'd be a different me. I'd rather be any kind of bird (apart from a goose) than be you because to be you I'd have to not be me which I couldn't do unless someone else was me but then they would be you aswell so there would still be no me. They would be you because I was you so to restore balance you would have to be me and them meaning all three of us would become one continously the same. That would be very bad.

    - Armies of only Quendi and Eldar gold units. Norentino units ruin the color scheme.

    - Sauron must always be fought by my best general, same with the Balrog (backed by troops is okay)

    - No trolls on wall tops (lol imba)

    - I restrain from using ballista vs Mumakil unless I am annoyed or impatient

    - No buying settlements

    - I must fight rebels/bandits with existing garrisons

Yes, I always try to roleplay. I wont have a code of rules but I roleplay as much as possible. I always emphasize on the main characters, try to be noble if using a good faction and try to be evil (execute prisoners, loot settlements, etc) when using an evil faction.

    As HE: strict good play.

Only keeping real 'elven territory' and giving the rest away to the most appropriate good faction. Keeping allies alive by giving settlements and money. No cheating.

    As Isengard:

No cheating. Keep the ring. No alliances with good until later in campaign (I think Saruman would team up against Mordor if he has the ring and other people would be intrested to ally.)

I do exatly the same, I take possession of Ost-In-Edhil and give Hoarwell to Arnor.
Still, in turn 100 it' hard to afford the price of all family member, the biggest issue with HE

    I have a few:
    - Restore old borders and then DEFEND THEM
    - Build up cities!
    - Governor in each city
    - Each larger army must be lead by a general!
    - Try not to cheat(pretty hard with the low growth in castlecities.....)
    - Keep the bloodline free from outsiders! Ppl that will never get king or heir(unless everyone else is dead) can adobt.

    With Rohan:
    - As soon as I start the campaign kill Thengel so Theoden becomes king.
    - I Must always back up Gondor no matter what and Theoden or Eomer ONLY can lead the Rohirrim to wage war against the enemies of Gondor.
    - After eliminating Isengard try to be peaceful towards Dunland.
    - Not venture into Fangorn and Lothlorien.
    - If posible or convinient take the Anduin Vale.
    - Do not Invade Dunland or Lond Agren.
    - Fight in Open field 90% of my battle's and avoid having too much infantry only on Key cities.

    Dwarves:

Never adopt, unless Gimli and Balin dies.

I always do the same things really, Gimli taking all the starting units from Ered Luin and attacking OoG from west and Balin recruiting men in Erebor and then attacking Ered Mithrim, Gundabad and the northern settlements of the Misty Mountains. When Gimli has finished off Gundabad orcs they both cut themselves down to Moria which I let Balin take while Gimli is pillaging in Dunland (supposing it's still in Isengard hands that is)
Under the patronage of Finlander. Once patron to someone, no longer.
    Content's well good, innit.
