    Icon4 Maps !

Hi i want a different map set up for my campaign. Can you tell me where there is and if not make a sticky for maps for SS latest version thank you.

Also I wonder why did King Kong not add a Option for the player to choice from: Full Historical Campaign and the current one fantasy Imperial map ????????

There is no simple map modification for SS 6.4. Many mods that touch the region distribution/geographical features also change various other features such as playable factions and unit rosters. You also can't simply copy and paste one map over another as various files are modified in the process.

King Kong hasn't been around for a while, and everyone else is either working on their respective submods, SS 7.0, or focusing on real life.

Hi John! Fair Prince's Stainless Steel Map Adjustment Project as well as RollingWave's Historical Units Region Buildings Mod are both popular options for more historically based maps. We work with a finite amount of regions that we can work with, however, so no map will ever be able to include every important region of the time without drastically reducing the scale of the campaign.

The Battle for the Baltic submod is a great example of a mod that "zooms in" on the map and provides more region and faction depth. The scale is smaller but it makes for a denser, more historical campaign.

My question is, is it possible to keep the standard Stainless Steel map, while transferring over the textures from the SSMAP project? The Textures are vastly superior, but I prefer the gameplay in the vanilla mod.

yes it's possible, just copy paste the terrain folder from SSMAP.
