Another Raid against the Dwarves

1000 Goblins and a troll approach the dwarves camp in Moria. Their goal is to get as many supplies as possible from the dwarves.

The raid is once again detected, and the dwarves are given an opportunity to attack their would be attackers

The Dwarves send out 3,000 Heavy Infantry(+1) under the command of Balin to force the outnumbered and outmatched Goblins into conflict,

The Dwarven order of attack is fairly simple they sally out from their fortress, hopfully taling the would be raiders by surprise, and surround the goblins, whom they outnumber and outmatch in training and arms. The assault is to be led by Balin, leading from the front ranks as all good Dwarven commanders must. The troll is to be watched and focused on when possible, to minimize the damage it can do.

The goblins withdraw hoping to escape the dwarfen invaders. 'they are ordered not to engage unless absolutely necessary

This raid has to be done first before I can do the second battle, because the goblins will likely not have as many men. I added a -4 modifier to the goblin defense rolls should the retreat fail, and the retreat did fail. RP accordingly

The goblins are unable to escape, and marshal a pitiful defense. The dwarves quickly outflank the outnumbered foe and begin to move in for the kill.

The encirclement is to be completed and once done the Dwarves charge their ill prepared and disorganized foe, blocking off any hope of retreat. As ordered before Balin is to lead the attack from the front of his Dwarves, for glories, honors, and all that. As before the troll is to still be watched and focused on when possible, to minimize the damage it can do, though its threat is still minimal with all other factors considered. No

Goblins begin to run hell mell breaking and routing the troll riots and charges the dwarven line throwing dwarves into the air in a rampage. Here and there small goblin groups of goblins hold out against the onslaught.
