Yeah, same here i've found you haven't got the same amount of time to take as much land on the Europa 270 campain because of all the settlements. Is there a tutorial to do this somewhere cos I havent the foggiest to integrate it, do you have to use the RTR one?

Good idea it makes the caracters live longer, I like that.
"They do not possess the true fire. They speak of creation and they boast of their potential but they do not create anything beyond the mundane. Their imagination is poor, obsessed with the small details. A true Dreamer, I say, creates a grand scheme and then concentrates on the details. Starting with the details is for the ants of the imagination - the small insects who aspire only to be fed.”

Funny, people using my mod are asking to get rid of 4tpy minimod (campaigns too long,...) here people are asking how to include it. You have to decide one or the other because Marcus Camillus 4tpy includes although adapted traits/ancillaries (or use a batch file to switch files).

You NEVER please the community 100%. That is why there are so many products/mods out there.
I also believe that the campaigns would be too long but also the large maps are needing it.

    So I am confused.

Well, if it's an optional add-on, then there's no problem is there?

I agree with using standard timing for "canon" DM -- it is the best medium, and I also think you should bias yourself toward the smaller maps, because these provide the most dynamic gameplay and make the most of what little the AI can do properly. Myself, I'd love to have a half-size map with ONE turn per year. But, if someone wants to play on the gigantic map, standard timing and movement do not work. A mod with "2tpy.bat" and "4tpy.bat" would be fantastic.

as someone mentioned before i also believe that the normal number of turns and movement might not be suitable for bigger maps. it works fine in the imperial campaign but not the huge map.

when i was trying out the EB mod which has an even bigger map, they used the 4 turns per year. it made a lot of sense cuz without it, u just zip thru so many generations and then there r just so many family members that swarm u.

im not as worried about not having enough time to complete the game, cuz i have never had that problem. but it seems like ur family members now die achieving less compared to b4, if u know what i mean. anyway, its not exactly a necessity but it would be nice to have it as an option. with or without it i still love ur mod so much.

another thing in EB was that the agent units would be able to walk a lot further than other units. i think this makes sense since with an army u gotta bring supplies and equipment, etc. but agent can just move around freely by themselves. on a huge map i think it makes sense. wat do others think?

Add the 4tpy as an optional mod.
Personally, how can you complain about a too long campaign? How long are they supposed to take? I love the length in barebones. I see no problem with adding an option to have it. Also, it makes playing rome more fun, as they have marcus' traits.

I've noticed on Dath Mod's big map, the agents just don't have enough movement points, it took me about 15-20 turns just getting a diplomat from Carthage to Alexander.
