They won't be interested until after it's released, people want to play the game first before getting bored of just playing it and doing this instead

Hello there guys. If and when I get R2, I could be interested to join. If I can't get it, I hope I could play some sort of a non-character in the game - such as a spy or a diplomat - to participate anyway. (You guys could move that character for me or similar.)

Well we are one day away from Rome II, so I believe that after a few days of fanboi'in hard that we should all just be able to come back together and start playing YATS!

I haven't actually recieved my copy of R2 in the post yet, but from what i've read, if we want to play YATS with any semblance of realism or stable gameplay, we will have to use mods... What are your thoughts on this those who have the game already?

The games no more unrealistic than RTW. Also why do we require realism in the game seeing as the only interaction we have with the game is at the end of the week?

Maybe you mistook my meaning, I am talking about the crazy benny hill BAI that never attacks you and walks around in circles, and the CAI that seems to have a non-aggression pact with every other nation including yourself. That's what i meant by realism, not that some soldiers don't have the right sort of sandals

I have however heard some good things about the patch 2 CA has just released, so we shall see

I could've sworn it was somewhere else. Either way, there lies a question of WS admins accepting a game in this section.

On other news, I've PMed Ponti (one of the old mods) to lead this game. And no, I won't be moderating it, playing will do for me. I'll also find the old mods and send them a PM.

I'm not sure if Ponti would accept, he seemed to think of YATS as a broken product when he was founding The Roman Struggle.
