All battles always CTD?

Hi there,

Great mod - was really looking forward to play this. I'm using version 6.4. I have Windows XP.

The campaign is fine, but when I go to launch a battle, I see the loading screen...when the loading gets to 100%, the game crashes and the entire computer turns itself off and restarts.

This happens not just on the campaign map, but also when I try 'quick battle' from the main menu also.

Before I installed SS6.4, the game was fine (I was playing SS6.1). Also, I have broken crescent, and that doesn't CTD when I do battles.

I attach my error log with this post:

11:08:18.265 [system.rpt] [always] CPU: SSE2

Any ideas what might help?

Graphics settings too much for your card maybe?

Otherwise Check through the various threads above about ss installation methods for different setups e.g steam users.

I have this CTD too except I can use quick battle
