Just a quick question: will all of these great features of MTW be also in MTW2 (esp faction reemergencies, cuz haven't found any info on that)? Txs![]()

So anyone willing to enlighten me on this matter?![]()

Peasant rebellions, yes. They're the same as the rebellions that you get from setting taxes too high for instance, so they've always been there, and will definately be in MTW2 too.
Civil wars was done in BI (to a small degree of course) so I suspect there will be some civil wars in the game.
Faction reemergencies... maybe.
Just guessing on civil wars and faction reememergencies, really.
Thing is, we don't know anything really. Most people are mostly concerned with AI and the campaign map and such.

I think that there have to be civil wars and factions reemerging, but hopefully those factions will not just reemerge somewhere on the map like the english in cyprus (even if they have hold that region for some time during gameplay), but at least near their native homeland

I seem to recall reading about re-emerging factions back when mtw2 was first announced.
And in screens of the campaign map we can see that generals have loyalty.... so unless CA are adding completely usless tat... then civil wars are back for good.
I'm cool with peasant rebellions and even with civil wars, but I sure hope they don't have re-emerging factions. They'd show up in the heartland of your empire with three full stacks of elite, fully-armored, and fully-armed Gothic knights and chivalric men-at-arms.
Indeed, they were frustrating.Originally Posted by IronBrig4
However, perhaps they could work a little like the Romano-British in BI? Loosing a certain set of provinces to rebels would allow a faction to re-emmerge. At least then, you're partly at fault for loosing them, and it isn't smack bang in your heartland.
Re-emerging in MTW was aweful, they would re-emerge in any rebel city possible with ELITE units by rallying up men from cities what the hell??? and they get armies that will take you a century to build so they are better off after re-emerging than before
I Agree that Re-emerging in MTW was awful.
Something like one of your generals rebelling and deciding to restore the Monarchy to that country would be a better way to go IMO. That way it could be like a mini civil war rather than just an elite army emerging out of no where.
Txs for replies guys
Yes, I really hated those faction re-emergencies in MTW with many stacks of elite units that you even couldn't train at that moment, that was very illogical and stupid, but I liked the whole re-emergency idea, it just needs to be balanced not to go to such extremes
. I sure hope faction re-emergencies are included and more polished in M2TW

I hope its not like the first MTW. That was near impossible to keep all those territories in check. It was so difficult, it pretty much ruined the end game, in my opinion.![]()
