Manhunt game for P.C. not working fully on Win 7 pro..help!

Hi everyone,

I just spent a GOOD portion of time uninstalling Manhunt from Rockstar Games from my Win 7 pro 64 bit machine.

The game installed fine and ALL keys work fine except for the mouse which acts as a "turning pivot" for the character of the game:
The game recognizes the keyboard but not the mouse most of the time.
Before the first save point, Manhunt recognizes the mouse sometimes and after the save point...it doesn't at all.

Can someone who owns Manhunt and is running it help me please?

P.S. I bought the game from amazon.com and I didn't hack to get it! Seriously!

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? Right click on the shortcut or the exe file, click properties, click on the compatibility tab, check run this program bla bla and select windows xp service pack 2 or 3.
