Confused DM fan!

just installed the CM v8 and i got a few questions.

1. would it be ok if i add the academy bonus and raise the corruption limit on treasury? it would affect all my campaigns right? there shouldnt be any problems right?

2. there r so many maps? who came up with all of them? and quite a few r the same map.

3. europa 270bc is HUGE! how many cities does it have?

4. y r there only the brutii and scipii in the punic war campaign and not the julii? extra small map by the way.

5. the risk map is the exact same as the punic war one. y have them seperate?

6. the other risk map, the only difference is that there is only one rome, right? no other difference?

7. the only difference between the roman campaign and the europa 270 is that rome is united? and smaller? along with a few other factions, right? anything else?

8. are the world wonders still important? do they have any effect? i couldnt find the collosus of rhodes on the roman campaign one i think. it wasnt built yet?
