    Default three questions

    1. I have been reading some guides qand it seems that you are supposed to recieve armies when script battles happen, yet I recieve no armies. I am almost always able to defeat the script battles but it badly mauls my defense force (the army I keep to reinforce allies and respond to enemies) and means many turns of retraining. Why aren't any armies spawning under my control? is it only for certain battles? if so could i have a list of those?
    2. What makes Tzeench Horrors so deadly (I ask this from a modding standpoint) I figured out that the Flamers attacks are continuous which makes them chain stagger small units like Trolls and Ogres. However I cant figure out why the Horrors 1 attack seems to kill so many enemies.
    3. All my merchants seem to spawn with 0 finance. I have tried every building I can think of and yet the most I can get them to spawn with is 2 finance which is a very rare occurence and requires structures that I usually wont have until turn 30. Is this just a bug with my game?

also when playing as a faction other than dwarfs there are dwarven territories in the mountains of norsca. I am assuming that these will be the settlements for Norscan dwarves in the next version. Or will they be part of a unified Norscan faction?

    1. The scripts have changed from version to version. It really depends which faction your playing, and some events have triggers that needs to be happen first. F.ex. I have had 30k of gold, and full stack of units with Ostland, but this doesn't happen everytime.

    3. I think it is intentional, marchants are very powerfull, and they do usually get better over time.

    1. It really depends on faction, certain conditions and so. In the 1.5.1 version the scripted activity has been lowered A LOT. If you want to check them out go to the campaign_script.txt file in the mod AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! Unless you know what you are doing, otherwise you could end up damaging your mod installation. At the begging of this file you will find a index of sort, where you can see all the scripted events for category and if I'm not mistaken there is a category for invasions and spawned armies, you can use the Find tool of notepad to go there (simply copy the title in the index and paste it on the tool, then click find next). But again, if you don't know a bit of programming or scripting or at least very good attention you probably won't understand much there, still is worth the shot.

    2. Those heathen demons deserve nothing but to be put down by the holy fire of sigmar! They are deathly well, because they are daemons. Try to use artillery or massed troops against them. Wizards works well.

    3. I'm making a submod for 1.5.1 that gives traits to merchants, spies and assassins, it gives them with a high frequency every time they are recruited or spend a turn on a city with universities, big markets, tech buildings and such. Stay tuned, since work is slow but I think I will have it before the end of the year.

The Horrors ranged attack passes through units, unlike most other ranged attacks. So they hit more than one model at a time, which compensates for their low attack value. Compare the Chaos Dwarf Blunderbuss, which has an attack of 3 or 4, and absolutely obliterates all but heavy armored or multi HP units.

Getting the Norsca Dwarf fortresses is part of the victory conditions for the Dwarf faction. I think they have unbuildable buildings in them which allow the Norsca Dwarf units to be built. The AI Dwarves get them early on, I suppose by script or something, but the player Dwarf is supposed to conquer them.

The merchants' finance trait sometimes increases when they trade a resource for a longer time, but I'm not sure how this works exactly TBH. You can always try and buyout other merchants to level them though.

The traits works with a series of triggers that, well as the name implies trigger when conditions are meet. For example, if a merchant try to buy another one out, and succeed it have X% of chances of acquiring trait Y.
