I couldn't say why everyone in the US practices circumcision, but I enjoy my own. Granted, it was performed when I was a few days old, but my Pop had his at or around age 9, and his Pop in his 30's. I would imagine that besides any religious overtones, a circumsized gun is easier to keep clean. There was that study a couple of years ago saying that HIV is much less likely to infect circumsized men, but I was born before that, so it doesn't apply to me.
I guess it's a cultural thing, and as such I will have it performed on my male offspring if I'm lucky enough to have any.

I'm sick of this good for you crap. It takes me 5 seconds to while I'm in the shower roll the foreskin back and rinse it, and it's perfectly clean. If it was 3 thousand years ago, sure, then that argument can stand, but now we bathe daily(most of us anyway)
