Transfering Saves to a Different Computer?

So I've been playing a campaign on my laptop and have really gained a lot of enjoyment out of it. I have Total War on both of my computers, as well as the same mod that I am playing, etc. etc. Is it possible to transfer my save game from my laptop to my PC without issue? I hear the term hotseat come up and that involves transferring saves, but I've never done it and I'm not schooled in the ways of it.


Insight is appreciated.

Just copy your save folder from your laptop onto a USB stick or a dvd and then copy onto your desktop.

It will only work if both are clean installs. If you've done any modifying on your laptop, you'll have to move the mod at least or the full vanilla campaign.

So the save just needs to go into the proper save folder in the mod folders? I can just copy and paste it all?

Yep! You can also email it to yourself of upload to a file hosting site like mediafire.

If you're using Windows 7 your saves might be in the virtual store:

C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
