The End

After over a year, I think it is time to retire. I'm finding it difficult to keep things fresh and the amount of time this game consumes when it runs is not worth the trickle of responses it creates. With other forum games lining up and in light of my lack of motivation to continue I think its wise to end this now. It was fun but all things come to an end.

This was the roleplay that really got me entrenched in this community and made me meet a lot of great friends. I could have not had as much as I could have had in the Community RPG without meeting all you nut jobs and inspiring people. I have absolutely loved this setting and it is said to see it go. It has also helped me learned a lot more about Rome and understand its history better.

On a side note:

Thanks to Sev and Lucius for their hard work keeping the game going despite waning activity in recent months.

Special Thanks to Rhapture as well for his hard work and mega contributions to TRS 2.0. His valued effort and tutelage helped me adapt to the game when I first started.

Thanks to everyone else who contributed over the last year to keep this game alive. I hope one day it shall return. I will be ready.

As for that, I will be retiring from the Community RPG's to pursue writing aspirations in the Writer's Study.

I have started a book, as well as wrapping up the TWC University course for AAR's, then working on an AAR as well.

I wish all my fellow Comm RPGer's farewell and hope to play with ya soon

I'd be interested, but I'd need moderator abilities, plus I have several time constraints largely with school and alliance games, but we'll see.

Severus would not let this specific rp go to any different management. Its no offense to anyone, but this is his pride and joy after all...and TRS will always be Ponti's rp.

If you want to make another game to replace this one, then you are gonna have to go through the usual process. But TRS might be replaced by either Garland's Hyboria rpg or the Kingdom of Jerusalem rpg that Ponti and I are making.

So far, just this idea. Ponti was enthusiastic about the idea of a Crusader setting rpg. So we went with the idea. Right now we are brainstorming and will bring out a proposal at a later time.
